John has played in a couple of versions of The Albion Band, he also collaborated with Ashley Hutchings on the album The Compleat Dancing Master, and appeared with Steeleye Span on their albums, Storm Force Ten and Live At Last, and, of course with Martin Carthy in Brass Monkey.
